The Office of the Financial Supervision Authority has published the „Report on the condition of the insurance sector after the fourth quarters of 2016”.
On 20 April 2017 the Upper Chamber of the Polish Parliament held its first reading of the bill amending the Act on compulsory insurance, the Insurance Guarantee Fund and the Polish Motor Insurers’ Bureau. The bill aims at addressing the problem of the exhaustion of guarantee sums in the case of MTPL insurance.
