Piotr Antkiewicz has resigned from the function of CEO of Export Credit Insurance Corporation (KUKE) according to press reports and information from KUKE’s website.
Antkiewicz became the company CEO two months ago. KUKE’s shareholders appointed him during the Extraordinary General Meeting on 17th July 2017.
As the press stated, the resignation could be caused by disputes with other KUKE Board Members and lack of agreement with the Board of Polish Development Fund – a KUKE strategical partner.
Piotr Antkiewicz is a highly qualified manager with 20 years of insurance, banking, and management experience gained in international organizations. He commenced his professional career at Warta (1995-1998). For the next eight years Piotr Antkiewicz worked at Volkswagen Bank in Poland and in Germany. He continued his career at Genworth Financial (2007-2008), BNP Paribas Cardif (2008-2013), held the post of the Vice-President of the Management Board at Aviva (2013-2016) and worked as an independent business consultant.
Piotr Antkiewicz replaced Marek Czerski who resigned on 1st February 2017.
