From January to June 2019, international Green Card bureaus paid EUR 783k for losses in Ukraine, caused by drivers with foreign Green Card policies.
The total number of claims reached 900 units. The largest number of accidents were caused by vehicle owners from Poland (33%), Lithuania (23%), the Czech Republic (6%), Belarus (5.3%) and Slovakia (4.9%).
On the other hand, the total number of accidents caused by owners of Ukrainian Green Card policies in the territory of the Green Card member countries, amounted to 1,697 (-8% y/y), for the first half of 2019. The largest number of accidents were registered in Poland (36.5%), Russia (16.5%), Germany (10.8%), Italy (5.6%) and the Czech Republic (5.1%).
