The Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) has launched a new program to support development of innovativeness on the financial market.
The regulatory sandbox prepared by KNF is dedicated to entities which want to start their activity on the financial market and have an untested innovative product or financial service, or offer some solution on the financial market but want to develop it to launch new services or create new business models.
KNF will conclude a contract with selected operators. They have to meet some requirements which will depend on applicant startup business scale, its specificity and complexity.
The office announced that applicant entities can count on the authority’s help and explanation in the scope of license and supervisory requirements. In particular the regulator will support in documentation preparation and assigning of licences.
