According to data for the second quarter of this year, the number of Poles with private health insurance is more than 3.5 million. This is an increase of 14.8 percent compared to the same period last year.
Poles’ awareness of their health is growing, which is shown by the increased number of policies, but also by the increased number of tests performed. We can also see an increase in employers’ interest in employees’ health. More and more often they provide health insurance, extend the compulsory package of occupational medicine with diagnostic packages, deepen prevention of upper respiratory tract illnesses, and provide access to online doctor’s consultation.
One of the most common concerns among Poles is loss of health. This worry, to a large extent, can be solved by faster diagnostics and better access to doctors.
