The draft bill for the liquidation of pension funds (OFE) has been published. According to the draft, the capital allocated to OFE’s accounts will be handed over to savers’ individual pension accounts IKE. For the transfer there will be a 15% fee.
The 15% transfer fee will be paid over 2 years, the draft bill shows. OFEs will be transformed into investment funds SFIO and OFE managers PTE will become investment fund managers for TFI.
Poles will also be offered the alternative of having their money written onto their virtual accounts at the state social security system, the draft bill shows. That transfer will not face a 15% transfer fee. Assets would be transferred from their current OFE funds to the state’s Demographic Reserve Fund for management.
