AXA announced that it had completed the acquisition of Liberty Ubezpieczenia, the Polish Property & Personal Injury operation of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group for a total of PLN 101.3 million (Euro 23.5 million).
This transaction allows AXA to further strengthen its presence in Poland, which is one of the most attractive insurance markets in Central and Eastern Europe. The move will boost AXA’s market share in Poland to 4.8% from 3%.
