Aviva has started selling insurance by Messenger – the Facebook’s application. According to the insurer, the new distribution channel will be an opportunity to bring travel insurance to young people and clients who buy policies by the internet.
The process of travel insurance purchase lasts less than one minute. A client is asked to respond to a few simple questions. On the basis of the information obtained an offer is prepared. However a financial transaction is not possible, for security reasons. A policy is delivered to the client by e-mail.
“Clients benefit quickly from the simplified method of insurance purchase” – states the insurer.
Aviva is the third insurance company on the Polish market selling insurance by Messenger. So far this service has been launched by PZU and Allianz which also sells car insurance by Messenger.
