Aviva Polska has improved its operational profits by 0.5% to PLN 954 mln in 2019.
In the life insurance segment, gross written premium rose to PLN 1.94 bln from PLN 1.91 bln, with new business in the segment up 13% to PLN 279 mln and net result flat vs 2018 at PLN 588 mln.
In the property insurance segment, gross written premium increased to PLN 457 mln from PLN 443 mln while net result grew to PLN 42 mln from PLN 25 mln.
In the insurance joint venture with Santander Bank, gross written premium rose to PLN 524 mln from PLN 408 mln and net result increased to PLN 143 mln from PLN 120 mln.
