On 12 February 2019 the 7th Financial Supervisory Authority meeting was held. During the meeting the institution gave InterRisk consent to buy TUW “TUW”’s shares.
The insurer can acquire shares of the Polish mutual insurer “TUW” to the level which allows one fifth of votes in the company general meeting and half of the insurer’s capital share. Currently the companies can sign the final agreement in the scope of further cooperation.
“We received the KNF’s statement with satisfaction. The merger of both organizations will contribute to achieve mutual benefits for our companies as well as our clients. The cooperation will allow us to offer products which will meet the needs of people searching for appropriate insurance products in many areas”, commented Piotr Narloch, InterRisk CEO.
The Authority also allowed the appointment of Aleksander Roda to CEO of TU Zdrowie.
The next meeting is planned on 26 February 2019.
