On 11 June 2019 the 26th Supervision Financial Authority meeting was held. The financial watchdog made a decision to put a financial sanction on PZU again.
PZU was fined PLN 900k by the financial market regulator for delays in claims payouts in the years 2014-2016. KNF took into account the fact that PZU had streamlined the process earlier.
KNF gave Generali CEE Holding B.V. consent to take over asset manager Union Investment TFI from Union Asset Management Holding AG.
The institution also extended the scope of Polski Gaz TUW insurance activity. By virtue of the decision the company can offer health insurance products.
Moreover, the financial watchdog gave Matthias Baltin consent to become the CEO of Allianz Polska SA and Allianz Życie Polska SA.
