The 8th Financial Supervisory Authority (KNF) meeting was held on 26 February 2019.
During the meeting the institution gave Paweł Kacprzyk consent to become the CEO of both insurance companies of Nationale-Nederlanden. Read more: New CEO of Nationale-Nederlanden
Moreover Krzysztof Bachta received from the Authority consent to become the CEO of Alior Bank.
KNF decided to impose a financial penalty on Concordia Polska TUW. The insurer has to pay PLN 13k for delays in awards and payment of motor insurance compensation and failure to fulfil reporting obligations in the years 2015-2017. The financial watchdog informed that the insurer has taken actions to improve its claims settlement process. It made an impact on the sum of the sanction imposed.
The next meeting is planned on 12 March 2019.
