On 29 January 2019 the 4th Financial Supervisory Authority meeting was held. During the meeting the institution gave Vienna Insurance Group consent to take over Gothaer TU SA.
The insurer can acquire shares of the Polish non-life insurer Gothaer TU SA. Thanks to that VIG will have more than half of the share capital of the company and more than half the votes at a general meeting of Gothaer’s shareholders.
The financial watchdog also allowed the appointment of Grzegorz Krawiec to both companies of Allianz Polska board.
