The Appeal Court in Rzeszow in their judgment of 7 July 2016 (ref. no. I ACa 91/16) ruled that the proportionality clause included in an insurance contract is contrary to good customs, understood as loyalty of trade partners.
The Polish Insurance Association sent a letter to the Prime Minister which addresses some outstanding issues on MTPL insurance and declares its full readiness for any consultation with state authorities, supporting the development of specific solutions to ensure market balance and a sense of security for Polish drivers.
