“Polish insurer PZU will be supervised by the Development Ministry once the Treasury Ministry is abolish” – deputy PM, Development and Finance Minister Mateusz Morawiecki told Polish Press Agency.
“PZU, Azoty, Polfa pharmaceuticals and most likely LOT airline will be transferred the Development Ministry, while the securities’ depository KDPW and lottery operator Totalizator Sportowy will go to the Finance Ministry” – Morawiecki, who heads both ministries, said.
As for copper giant KGHM and the Warsaw Stock Exchange operator GPW, „the question should be directed to minister Kowalczyk [Treasury Ministry liquidator]” – Morawiecki said.
The Treasury Ministry is going to be abolished at the end of 2016.
