The Polish government has approved a draft bill converting OFE pension funds into private pension funds and planning to take 15% off the transfer in the form of a transformation fee.
The transfer of OFE means to IKE will be the default option. In the case of those who decide to transfer their OFE means to the social insurance board ZUS, the transformation fee will not be taken.
