Piotr Głowski will become the CEO of both insurance companies of Santander Aviva. The existing chairman Krzysztof Charchuła resigned from the position. He will finish his work in the insurance company at the end of August
Piotr Głowski has been connected with Aviva since 2014. He is responsible for sales, strategic partners and bancassurance. Earlier he had worked in the banking sector, among other in Polbanku EFG and Raiffeisen, where he managed sales and developed their retail chain. Głowski started his career in PZU as an insurance agent. He was promoted to a member of the company board and supervised insurance sales.
Krzysztof Charchuła has been CEO since 2010. He is connected with the company since its establishment in 2008, when he became the board member responsible for processes and IT. He is one of the insurer’s founders.
The change will come into force after the Polish Financial Supervision Authority’s consent.
