MAK Ubezpieczenia, the Polish insurance broker, wants to become the growth leader on the Polish market and the pioneer in an international expansion area.
According to Andrzej Wasilewski, MAK CEO, the Polish broker market is very fragmented. More than 1,000 entities operate in this market, but only 10 run theirs business on a wide scale. He also stated that digitalization will force brokers to consolidate. The MAK CEO said that he sees a chance to merge with others brokers, but he did not give away any details.
MAK also plans to develop on foreign markets. Currently it runs in 9 countries. Shortly it will start sales of its products in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
