Dr Maciej Kawecki, Director of the Data Management Department, Coordinator of the reform of personal data protection, resigned from his post.
From August 1, Kawecki will become dean of the Higher Banking School in Warsaw.
Kawecki was the coordinator of the national reform of personal data protection responsible for implementing the provisions of the GDPR from 2017. In 2015-2016 he worked in the Office of the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection, and in the years 2016-2017 he was an adviser to the minister of digitization. Kawecki said that he is available to the minister as an expert.
