The General Meeting of AMICE has chosen again Grzegorz Buczkowski to be the Chair of the Board. He will perform this function for the next three years.
“It is a huge honour to manage such an important and large organization, which is recognised on the European market as well as the global forum. The General Meeting entrusted this function to me again. I treat it as a sign of trust but also as acceptance of my engagement in mutual insurance development in Europe and the world”, said Grzegorz Buczkowski.
His previous term of office brought improvement in cooperation between mutual insurers from Europe and other global regions. In 2017 the global market share of mutual insurers amounted to 26.7%. In 2007 it was 24%.
Grzegorz Buczkowski has been connected with the insurance sector for 25 years. He is CEO of the Polish mutual insurance company SALTUS Ubezpieczenia. In 2008 he became a member of AMICE Board. From 2016 he managed the organization.
