ERGO Hestia has decided to equip its damage liquidators with drones. These devices allow pictures and videos of damaged areas to be taken.
“Drones can work in every place which may be observed from above. We use them when direct access to damaged place is hampered, impossible or too expensive”, said Sławomir Heksel, claims settlement director in ERGO Hestia.
Material registered by drones is used to estimate the size and value of damage such as flood or fire. It also facilitates eliminating damage.
“Photos and films registered by drones accelerate the claims settlement process and compensation payment. It is incredibly important that the devices help to ensure work safety for liquidators”, added Sławomir Heksel.
