The Polish insurer ERGO Hestia has announced its financial results after 2018. The insurer noted a record number of gross written premiums and technical result. The company received PLN 6.5 bln GPW and finished the year with PLN 413 mln.
Last year the life insurance company received PLN 442.83 GPW. It is a growth y/y by 5.7%. Profit amounted to PLN 21.4 mln (1739% growth rate) and the technical result was PLN 27 mln (101% growth rate). Whereas the non-life insurance company earned PLN 6.092 bln GPW, 12% more than a year before. The financial result amounted to PLN 363 mln and the technical result – PLN 386 mln.
