The Central Statistical Office of Poland (CSO) has presented the next edition of “Polish Insurance Market 2015”. The main aim of this publication is to present the activity of the insurance industry in Poland and its economic conditions. The presented data allows the assessment of its development and financial results.
The Polish insurance industry in 2015 noticed a drop in financial results. Net result declined by 15.9%, because of a deeper drop in revenues than in the costs of insurance companies in general. The worsening in the financial situation of the insurance industry was caused mainly by decreasing results (by 30.8%) of non-life insurers.
