On 5 November 2019 the 46th Financial Supervisory Authority meeting was held. During the meeting the institution gave consent to run insurance activity in the scope of life insurance by a new entity.
The Authority gave consent to offer life insurance products by the new company – Polski Gaz Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych na Życie. The new entity can sell: life insurance products, unit-linked products and health or accidents insurance which are supplements of life protection.
Also KNF gave Andrzej Zadrożny consent to become the board member responsible for risk management in Polski Gaz Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych.
The next Financial Supervisory Authority meeting is planned for 19 November.
