Alior Bank CEO Bachta resigns. Iwona Duda named new VP managing work of board
Alior Bank took resignation from CEO Krzysztof Bachta, effective May 12, and appointed Iwona Duda as deputy CEO and acting CEO.
Alior applied to financial market regulator KNF to appoint Duda as the bank's CEO, the filing further read.
Iwona Duda recently served as an advisor to the chairman of the NBP and a member of listed lender BOS's supervisory board. She was also deputy head of KNF in years 2006-2008.
Bachta served as Alior's CEO since February 2019. His appointment was preceded by a several months' tenure as acting CEO.
